Fremont, CA – Tri-City Health Center is honored and excited to have been awarded a $5,000 grant from Wells Fargo to support its School Health Mobile Clinic Program.
This program will help to increase access to health resources for schoolchildren in the Fremont community, providing physicals, annual exams, and vaccines, which are free of charge to uninsured and Medi-Cal patients.
Thanks to Wells Fargo’s generous donation, TCHC can provide increased care to youth in the community, staying faithful to its mission of providing quality healthcare services to the underserved families in the community, without regards to financial position, ethnicity, language, culture, sexual orientation, or the ability to pay.
In 2018, TCHC provided Vision, Behavioral, Dental, and Primary Care services, as well as specialty care for Pediatrics, Podiatry, and Chiropractic care, to more than 26,000 patients through seven locations throughout Fremont, with an eighth set to open this fall. TCHC is also proud to house 4 mobile health clinics, the School Health Mobile Clinic being one of them. TCHC is proud to be the only Federally Qualified Health Center in Fremont.
