Fremont, Calif. – Tri-City Health Center is excited to announce it received a $5,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation to help provide School Linked Mobile Health Services, increasing access to primary and preventive care for school-aged youth.
The grant will allow TCHC to provide medical coverage within the Fremont Unified School District and Newark Unified School District through the School Health Mobile Clinic. The TCHC mobile, which was launched in August 2017, offers primary care services such as sports physicals, well-child exams, and immunizations to children throughout the community. The grant helps continue these services in Fremont and expands them to neighboring Newark.
The School Health Mobile Clinic continues Tri-City Health Center’s mission of providing comprehensive health care in a caring, nurturing and respectful atmosphere regardless of ability to pay.
