Tri-City Health Center is proud to announce a $2,500 grant from Genentech, which will support TCHC’s In 2 Your 50s Project. The project seeks to exceed the national average for colorectal cancer screening and shingles vaccination. This will reduce shingle and colorectal cancer incidents in Alameda County and improve overall health.
Genentech’s generous grant will help TCHC accomplish its goal of reaching out to more than 5,000 patients over 50 years old and overdue for colorectal cancer screenings and the shingles vaccine. To incentivize patients, TCHC will provide gift cards to patients that sign up. TCHC will also produce material for outreach and education to aid these efforts.
This project continues TCHC’s efforts to be an advocate and partner for southern Alameda County.
