Fremont, CA – Tri-City Health Center (TCHC) is excited to announce the receival of a $167,000 grant from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) for its Integrated Behavioral Health Services.
Thanks to this generous grant, TCHC will be able to increase access to higher-quality behavioral health services that address mental health conditions and substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder. TCHC will also be able to make treatment more readily available to vulnerable and low-income individuals in southern Alameda County. This includes at-risk pregnant women, mothers, and infants in the community that need affordable, readily available access to these types of behavioral health resources.
In 2018, TCHC provided Vision, Behavioral, Dental, and Primary Care services, as well as specialty care for Pediatrics, Podiatry, and Chiropractic care, to more than 26,000 patients through eight locations and four mobile health units throughout Fremont. TCHC is also proud to be the only Federally Qualified Health Center in Fremont.
