Dr. Daniels was born in Chicago and attended Brandeis University. He went to Rush Medical College and received an MD degree in 1981. His internal medicine Internship and residency was served at the Jewish hospital/Washington University in Saint Louis from 1981-1984. He served as chief medical resident at Cook County hospital in Chicago from 1984-1985 and was an attending physician in the Department of Medicine at Cook County Hospital from 1985-1986. His cardiology fellowship was at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco from 1986-1988. From 1988 to 2015, Dr. Daniels was a clinical and interventional cardiologist with the Permanente Medical Group in San Jose and currently in Santa Clara. From 2015-2019 he was a clinical cardiologist at Kaiser Santa Clara.
