HIV / AIDS Program
TCHC is one of the most comprehensive Ryan White HIV Services providers in Alameda County. We provide the latest treatment and specialty care for people living with HIV, with the awareness that HIV is no longer a death sentence but is now a chronic, manageable condition. Our HIV clinicians, case managers and client advocates work as partners with our patients to assure that they receive quality, up-to-date care and medications, and access mental health care as well as assistance with housing, food and other basic needs. Assistance applying for medication access programs such as ADAP and support groups is also available.
TCHC does both confidential and anonymous rapid HIV testing using the Oraquick Advance HIV test. Just a quick mouth swab and results are ready in 20 minutes. HIV testing can be combined with STD testing in a confidential setting.
