At TCHC, our Primary Care Providers (PCPs) conduct standard health screening and testing as part of the regular patient medical visit. We also have services and programs specialized to meet the needs of the community we serve.

There are 3 main tests to screen for breast cancer:

  1. Mammogram
  2. Clinical breast exam
  3. Breast self-exam
  • Cervical Cancer
    There are 2 main tests to screen for cervical cancer:
  1. Pap test (or Pap smear)
  2. HPV test

Women should start having regular Pap tests at age 21, or within three years of the first time they have sex—which ever happens first.
