Specialty: Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist

I believe that healthy nutrition is very important to prevent and manage many chronic diseases, but also to improve our quality of life at every age and stage of life. This is one of the main reasons why I chose to become a Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist. I like to educate and guide my patients so that they can make progressive changes compatible with their lifestyle.

I was born in Italy and lived in England, Switzerland, Belgium, Ecuador, and Japan prior to moving to the USA in 2005. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in modern languages from Geneva University, Switzerland, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics (Summa cum Laude) from San Francisco State University. I became a Registered Dietitian after completing my supervised training primarily at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. I also hold Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.

I have been with Tri-City Health Center since October 2010, and truly enjoy caring for patients in a community-based clinic. It is extremely rewarding to work in such a multicultural environment where I have the privilege to care for children, adolescents, expecting mothers, and adults of all ages.

I am fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, and French and have a good knowledge of Japanese. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being active, writing, volunteering, and creating healthy recipes. I love traveling and learning more about different cultures.
